Instead of just sitting around, waiting for MGS4's second quarter 2008 release, we're going to celebrate Metal Gear by gathering and creating as much Metal Gear content as humanly possible. Our news stories, original features and exclusive content will remind, even the most diehard Metal Gear fan, just how awesome and important Metal Gear is.

In our opinion, Metal Gear is simply the greatest series of games to ever grace a television. Metal Gear has always had incredibly in-depth game play, complex and character driven storylines - ripe with a certain brand of innovative political commentary that isn't found in any other game. Our goal here at OMG Metal Gear is to make you think about Metal Gear in ways you never thought possible. To present news stories in a way that is contextualized by the entire series. To summarize and explore the characters and story line in ways that will both pretext Snake's (reportedly) final mission and get you so hyped to play Guns of the Patriots that you'll have to buy fire extinguishers in bulk just to keep the fire under your ass in control.
