The Next Big MGS4 Annoucnement Tied to NFL Playoffs

That's right. It seems a like an obscure connection - Metal Gear and the NFL. But, as a diehard Seahawks fan, Ryan Payton made a friendly wager with Mark McDonald on this weeks Kojima Report. Here's the wager: If the Seahawks lose this week's NFL Playoff game against the Packers then Ryan Payton will divulge a "juicy tidbit" of Metal Gear Solid 4 info. That's right, Payton said he'll actually consult with Konami Europe and Konami America to let him make an important announcement weeks ahead of time. What could it be? Maybe MGS4's box art. Maybe the official release date. In any case I'll be watching Saturday's (01/11/08) game with an added sense of eager fanboy-ness. The kicker, for me, is that I too am a huge Seahawks fan and as such want to see them go all the way. So what's more important, my beloved Seahawks moving forward in the playoffs, or brand-new MGS4 details?
