Payton and Seahwks Big Let Down

Remember Last week when I told you that Ryan Payton, Associate Producer of Metal Gear Solid 4, would be making a super important Metal Gear announcement today? Remember when I said that we'd feature the fleshy details right here on OMGmetalgear? Well, Ryan told a little fib and no cool Metal Gear announcement was made. Sorry to get your hopes up, I'm hoping none of you were as crushed as I was.

Payton did state that there are exactly four characters, (new or old) that have yet to be revealed for MGS4. He also said that there are 3 Metal Gear related products launching this summer. He did not elaborate on the projects and said only that a massive avalanche of Metal Gear announcements are on their way. Some things to look forward to: MGS4's official release date, the 4 new characters, the three Metal Gear projects, and an awesome visual being featured in a "world renown" magazine.

So, the big announcement was that there will be big announcements soon... Thanks, Ryan. Thanks a lot.
