Rumor: Metal Gear Solid on its Way to Xbox Live Arcade

The slut of videogames, Metal Gear Solid sure gets around. It's already been ported to a number of consoles, as well as PC, and now it looks like it may make its way to Xbox Live Arcade. Hit the jump to read more.
Wacky British man Patrick Steen over at Ripten claims that they have a source that has spied "the game on a certain pre-release network." Could this pre-release network be PartnerNet, the developers-only Xbox Live network? All Patrick can say is that "there are problems" in bringing MGS onto XBLA.
Well I hope this turns out to be true and whatever problems there are can be overcome. I would love to experience the original Metal Gear Solid all over again while I save up cash to buy a PS3. Keep your fingers crossed, guys.

I guess it's good for 360 MGS fans who no longer have their old PS1 or PS2 systems with witch to play the original.
I doesn't effect me though, because I'm a video game pack-rat who's never sold a single game he's ever owned.
