Can Solid Snake Topple Nintendo?

So Thursday is here and chances are everyone is playing Metal Gear Solid 4 and not reading this site. Still, if you're curious as to whether or not Snake has what it takes to take Nintendo off of the top spot in Amazon's video games top sellers list, hit the jump.

The answer is: not yet. According to Punch Jump News, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots was fourth on Amazon's top selling video games, behind Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the Nintendo Wii console, and Wii Fit in the number one spot.

However, as of this writing, Metal Gear has climbed to the 3rd spot, with only the Wii and Wii Fit standing in its way to number one.

Nintendo is quite the powerhouse, as we all know, but do you think Snake has what it takes to claim the lead?
